The media world has been agog with the news of the refusal of the appointment of a certain journalist Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), who made a publication about an India movie star. She was allegedly reported that she was caught on camera flaunting her cleavage, which led to an outcry from some of her fans and media experts alike. The media was more irate by the act when the journalist who made the revelation known to the public expressed disgust on why a celebrated star would be immorally caught on stage disgracing the people she’s an ambassador to and the nation she is part of.
Recently, the journalist that opened the lid cover to the matter was enmeshed in regrettable circumstances when he got turned down by the BCCI interested in employing him to be a reporter to the body. And this further sprouted up the incident about the actress that has been seemingly simmering for quite some time.
The famous India movie star was at the center of media circus again, escalating the controversy that the BCCI was contemplating of providing job to the journalist that once wrote a derogatory article about her. The cricket body made this known to newsmen through its acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary, and the journalist in question is no other than the board’s new General Manager (Marketing).
Apparently, from the story emanating from the newspaper, Choudhary allegedly wrote via electronic mail to BCCI CEO named Rahul Johri, which happens to be the board committee of administrators and BCCI bigwig officials making is concerns indicated on the matter. However, the issue also raised an eyebrow from some quarters about the BCCI process involved in the selection of a certain recruitment organization called Korn Ferry.
Interestingly, the unsavory development led to social media confrontation between the actress involved and the journalist. Deepika Padukone saying confidently through her twitter handle that “I am a woman.” I have breasts and a cleavage. On the other hand, the journalist reportedly responded calling the actress a pretender for disavowing the publication’s video, and same time criticizing her of indecently displaying her body shamelessly on screen, dancing seductively on stage and posing for paparazzi to attract media attention.
Further investigation conducted in order for the air to be cleared on the matter by the newspaper was abortive when she debunked the claim that she has no idea about the development and declined to formally comment on it.
